Ginkel Heath Dropzone - Ede

Here you can see the Ginkel Heath dropzone near Ede. On september 18th 1944 the 4th Parachute Brigade, under command of Sir John Hackett, landed here in the midst of a raging battle.
Every year a memorial drop is made here to honor the fallen and remember the event.

Just to the left of the middle you can see the top of the monument.
